I've bought games from G2A before, they were all legitimate steam copies. You can pay with paypal and dispute the charge if there are any issues. The windows copies might be from MSDN or they have a charity deal with microsoft since they have something about saving children on their website.

MSDN licenses are specifically "Not for resale".

G2A is not a "polish website hosted on a free server, selling bootleg keys. Generally these don't stay up long and just pop up under another name after they get shutdown", they have been around for a while but their moral compass does leave you with more questions than answers.

maybe the info is old?

I did not really look at their website much, it kind of looks like they host a bunch of sellers and take a fee. None of the sellers actually had any keys to sell when I looked.

I just check the name registration and date to see because I see fake sites pop up that are only a few days old, hosted on free servers in the US so it looks like a US company.

they often give you a legit key, but then they give the same key to lots of people, they can do the install but the activation fails or is later revoked.

Here is what I got from them this time. It's a little different from the reply I got the first time but it basically says the same thing.

Dear Valued customer,
You have reached Microsoft Customer Service, South East Asia. My name is Rizky and I would address your enquiry. As I understand it, you have inquiry for Microsoft Windows 8 Pro from G2A website. If my understanding is inaccurate, please let me know.
For this information, we have to inform you that it is not recommended by Microsoft to make purchases of these softwares as they are not official and genuine versions that are support by Microsoft activation. Microsoft does not have any vendor agreements with G2A or any of it’s resellers and so this in direct conflict to the Microsoft software license agreement since they are not an authorized electronic supplier of genuine Microsoft software. We cannot verify the genuine sales of the G2A third party seller but without authorization from Microsoft they cannot be genuine supplier.
Sincerely, it was a pleasure helping you. If ever you need further assistance please don’t hesitate to send us an email and we will be more than happy to help you.
Thank you for contacting Microsoft. Have a nice day!
Regards,
Rizky

What does it mean for me if I buy the key from them and it will work? Like can I be calm that I have legal Windows or even if Microsoft says it is genuine it might not be? I am sorry for such questions but I do not understand.
