XPS 8700 Special Edition Power Supply Upgrade

Hey guys, I want to upgrade the PSU in my Dell XPS 8700 Special Edition. Does anybody know the dimensions/form factor I need and power connection? It's hard to get specs for this system as it seems Dell wants to keep most of it's stuff proprietary.

If it is truly proprietary then you are out of luck. If it is a standard ATX system, then nearly any powersupply you want to buy should work. Might take the old one out and measure the physical size.

By the picture it looks like a fairly standard top mounted supply.

To be on the safe side, remove your PSU and measure it. Then get back to me and I'll be more than happy to help you find a suitable one.
