should i get the Intel Core I5 4690 Processor 3.50Ghz 6MB Cache or the Intel Core i3 4350 Processor 3.60Ghz 4MB Cache, what is more important, the GHz or the Cache memory? sorry if this is a stupid question, this is my first Pc build :D

The real difference between the two is that the i3 is a dual core and the i5 is a quad core. The i5 is a better choice for gaming.

Yeah, in this case, the GHz doesn't matter at all. The i3 will have slightly better single-thread performance, but as a whole, the i5 is a much better gaming machine, and the 4 cores allows you to multitask and perform workloads better.

Thanks very much. can you give me some advice on which motherboard i should get, its a LGA 1150 socket.

Do you want a small little mini- ITX pc or a full size tower (ATX) or something of a medium, a Micro-ATX tower? Mini-ITX tends to be the most expensive and Micro-ATX is the cheapest for motherboards, but it is a difference of $30-50 or so.
