Next set of AMD cards? (please read everything)

hi im looking to buy an amd r9 270x. i love the card and cant wait to buy one. one thing is holding me back though.

when will amds next set of cards come out?

i dont want to buy the 270x and then find out the next set of cards are being released around christmas or the new year. if the new set of cards are being released fairly soon, i should wait right?

This is my response to these questions about GPUs and when to buy.

If you have $200 to spend on a GPU and currently can but GPU A for that price, buy it. Even if new GPUs are coming out, that $200 will not get you any more performance than GPU A will deliver. Chances are if you wait and buy GPU B for $200, it will only be the same or even worse than GPU A would be. It takes alot of time for GPUs to settle down in price. Generally people like to buy cards right before new ones come out as they are heavily discounted and you will get MORE for your money.
