When I'm running WoW I'm getting like 30FPS on ULTRA, with 1x AA. I use a lot of addon's and a custom UI, ELVui to be exact. I feel like my FPS shouldn't be this low though. In Org I get like 55-60 but 25-35 in 5-man dungeons.
I just upgraded from a 6950 to the 7950. The 7950 was mined on before I bought it, but it runs at 50-54c while playing WoW and watching a movie on my second screen. The 6950 ran at like 70c, so I don't think the mining caused it.
I might just be over thinking it, but I'm seeing very little difference from the 6950 to the 7950. Should I reset my CMOS? I also noticed that Catalyst Controller was not installed when I switched cards, even though I had it with the 6950.
I could also be getting bottle neck from my CPU. Maybe I'm wrong though.
Here are my PC specs, nothing is OC.
