Hey guys.
I have a 500w PSU and I want to buy a FX 6300 and a R9 270x 4gb
Would it suffice?
I have 27 A on the 12v rail , if that means anything to you
Thanks!

It's from a prebuilt , so It is pretty bad.
Its a CiT 500w black edition I believe.
And yup , it has 2

As I recall, that's a Euro brand. Not familiar with it, but I believe it is a low-end unit. Personally, I'd be hesitant using it with the 180W card. It will be adding another 15 amps to the +12V rail. Will it run with the PSU? yes, probably. But it may eventually fail, and cheap PSUs sometimes have the bad habit of dying a catastrophic death and taking something else out with them.

Could I get away with running it for a short while and upgrading as soon as possible?
Could I be easy on the pc , like not leave it on and not put it under so much stress?

Sure. The card will only draw what it needs depending on the load it is under. At idle or even in Windows 2D it will not demand much power. Light gaming won't put much stress on it, either. High settings in class-A games at 1080p will crank it up, though. What card do you have now? Or just integrated?

I'm running a Sapphire branded HD 7770 , no problems as of yet , and has been fine for 5-7 months

EDIT
When I first stupidly bought the pre build , it had a hd 6450 if I remember correctly

The adapter will allow it to work. But it won't make the PSU any better. But if you are running an HD 7770 now, the GTX 750 Ti will actually be less of a load on the PSU! http://www.hwcompare.com/17310/geforce-gtx-750-ti-vs-radeon-hd-7770/ ...and not all that much of an upgrade.
I'm amazed that that PSU can handle an HD 7770.

EDIT: I mistakenly confused your card with another poster's card (GTX 750 TI). Disregard the above comment.

Wow , haha.
The pc is surprisingly pretty stable.
Only ever had 1 BSOD in around 1.3 years ,and games don't crash either.
I don't get the best fps , but that could be down to my cpu anyway.
So , would you recommend saving up for a new psu now , or buy one later?

Would something like a
Corsair CX750 be more viable?
Its not much more than the xfx , and leaves room for me to upgrade
