6970 Crossfire Help

I'm looking to crossfire my card.

I currently have Sapphire 6970 with a 700w bronze PSU

And is 700w enough for 2 6970s if I get another one?

Does the 2nd card HAVE to be the same model and everything? Or does it have to be in the series.

I would try and bump it up to 750-800 watts but you should be okay as long as you do not do any overclocking. I have two 7970's overclocked and a 3770k overclocked to 5GHz running on 850 Watts fine.

What about the same cards or can they be different 6970s.

I would recommend using two of the same cards because if you use two different cards I believe that the card with the lower specs drags down the one with higher specs to make them function essentially similar.
