DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET please help?

I am running windows 8, everything had been working great up until the other day. I opened up chrome, but i received this message DNS_PROBE_FINISHE_NO_INTERNET. My laptop says that i have full service, and when i connect to Netflix via the application it runs smoothly. I tried to open up IE but before anything happens it says that IE has stopped working. I've alreay allowed chrome through my firewall and antivirus, i don't know where to go from there. Please any help would be great.

It appears this applies to chrome only, no mention of firefox or ie. Try an uninstall and pull any reference to it out of the registry and reinstall. Good luck!

Try to uninstall and re-install. If that doesnt work check any other anti-virus settings.
