Question about multple storage use

I have a question lol I recently purchased an ssd and its only a 64 gb I installed my os and dayz on there with a few other things ie avast etc. right now I have 19gb free so I went ahead and formatted my 3 yr old wd black 7200 (250 gb)
my question is... Is there anything in particular I should be doing to use them correctly together? I heard its not wise to fill an ssd completely up.
I also have a spare 160 gb wd black as well but haven't hooked it up.

you can use the 160 and 250 gb hdd as extension drives its fine just a little more power consumption and few extra sata cable that's it..

So basically just make sure when saving files to save to those drives specifically? Also I have a buddy with a 120gb ssd that is willing to just give to me. Would it be wise to run in raid with just the ssds? Or just use it as a secondary drive or my third option reinstall windows 7 and start from scratch on the 120gb?
