I'm building my first gaming pc and the parts are due to come in tomorrow. I've been watching pc build videos and have a question about my fan connections. My Mobo is a asrock z97 extreme 4, my case is a rosewill challenger and I'm using a CM hyper 212 plus. The specs for my Mobo says it has 1-3 pin and 1- 4 pin cpu cooler header, 2-3 pin and 1-4 pin chassis fan headers, and 1-3 pin power fan header. Seeing as my case come with 3- 3 pin fans I can connect 2 of them to the chassis fan headers. I have heard that I can use the 3 pin power fan connector for the third case fan seeing as my power supply won't be using it. This covers all of my case fan connections. My question is; since there are mounting holes for a fourth fan on the side panel of my case, can I use the 3 pin cpu fan header my Mobo has to connect my fourth fan seeing as the CM hyper 212 plus will be using the 4 pin cpu fan header?
