How long will 280x last @ 1080p on High-Ultra settings?

I'm ordering a XFX 280x Double Dissipation GPU soon, since I can get it for $260, and I heard it's a good GPU. Anyways, how long should this 280x last me for gaming at High-Ultra settings before I have to upgrade? I'm going to be playing a lot of Battlefield 4, ARMA 3, Planetside 2. I also plan on playing a lot of Far Cry 4, Battlefield Hardline, so Will this game play these games at High/Ultra at 1080p as well as the games I'm playing right now?

One would have to have a crystal ball to predict that. If you have a good CPU to back it up, it should be able to play at high to ultra settings on most games for several years. But who knows what the devs have in store for us in the next gen games. I sure don't.
