Witch would
Be all round better for gamein and will last a while
xfx Radeon r920x 3gb double disposition video card..or
asus GeForce gtx760 2gb
Directcu II video card dc2oc-2gd5
Any help would be awesome
DO NOT get the XFX R9 280X DD. I had one and the whole card failed. XFX is not a quality GPU manufacturer and they use lower quality VRM componenets, they make great PSU's but not GPU's. Their RMA process is horrendous as well. Go with the ASUS but if you don't want the ASUS go with Sapphire, Gigabyte, or even MSI over XFX.
XFX Radeon R9 280X 3GB Double Dissipation Video Card
Is the one I ment sorry bout that
And I would hope to play ones that will be out this year but also games like rust and the Forrest I have an Xbox 1 but I want to start pc game in and this will be mi first build
So this is the best card. And will I Deffo need a monitor or can I run mi pc through mi lg 42 inch tv ?
The tv would work great as a monitor, just assure that it is at least 60Hz, at least 1080p and you should be anywhere from 58.8" to 67.2" away from the tv.
If install and play is what your after than go amd.
Amd usually has better performance.
But
If low power consumption and running cooler for more overclocking head room is what your after than go nvidia.
A nvidia gtx 760 can be the better performer with all the overclocking headroom but it involves effort on your end.
The amd is definitely better out the gate and doesn't need you to overclock truthfully seeing as it already has great performance.

the ASUS one is nice and good speeds and price but their cooler leaves a bit to desired in temps of fine tuning (it is fine but afaik it was a revamped 770 cooler slapped onto 280x) http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/video-card/#c=148&sort=a8
the 280x is basically a 7970ghz and even a super factory OC 760 can't touch the stock 7970ghz
