cpu stuck in board

hi everybody i was just wondering if its normal to have a cpu stuck in the board. I just got it and put it in. Then i tried to take it out but it wouoldnt budge. I was just wondering if this is normal. Btw it accidently got ripped out with the fan so im kindof scared if this will effect anything.

sometimes the crap thermal paste can cause it to get stuck to the stock heatsink

I would just gently and firmly try and nudge CPU out
make sure the locking bar is is unlocked

The heat sink isn't attached to it it's just the CPU and the mobo. Is it ok if there stuck, like what if there is some paste in there will it be a problem

it's fine to leave a cpu in the mb if it is working

yeah, you should try and clean away all the paste before reapplying

from what i saw there isnt any paste in there but its just stuck. Do they usually get stuck. Its and amd fx 8350 and a gigabyte 970a

you can try pushing the bar further back or cooling/freezing everything but being careful to let all moisture leave before using

i finally got it out but theres a problem, i bent a couple of pins. I think i got them traight o i tried to put it back in the nobo. It went in so i think im ok but is it possible that there could still be problems, now im really scared.

if you can get them straight and back in without breaking the pins or making them weak, you should be good

nothing to do but try and see if it works

i cant because not all of my parts are put together. What could happen if there weak

well weak pins may cause a failure latter down the road

there's nothing really for you to do at this point

just realign the pin best you can so they fit in the socket and just hope it works

try to move the pins as gently and as little as needed to make then fit
