I have a mobo MSI Z87-G43 with a i7 4770K CPU and RAM G.Skill DDR3 PC3-17000 2133MHz RipjawsX. In graphics I have MSI Geforce GTX 650 Ti Boost 2Gb.
Now I would like make an update with the Mobo MSI Z97 Gaming 7 using the same CPU and the same RAM, but the graphics will be MSI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 Gaming OC 4GB.
Worth it make this update in special with mobo MSI Z97 Gaming 7?
Appreciate the comments and advice, I will use my computer mainly for video editing.
Thank you very much.

Solution
I would leave the motherboard and just do the graphics card. unless you want to get into some serious overclocking you wont get much more performance from upgrading the board. if you have your heart set on any of the features on the new board then that is something to weigh up

as long as your not running 2 cards or heavily overclocking this should power most Gpu's just check what the required psu is for the card most will be under 700W
