Hello,

I apologise in advance if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything similar to my problem. I come asking for help because I really don't know what to do to fix my problem. Excuse me also for my ignorance as I'm a newbie.

I got:
Windows 7 ultimate
CPU : Amd Phenom II x4 965
Motherboard : Asus M4A78t-E
My fan? : Corsair GS700
Graphics card: AMD Raedon HD 6870

Well I just bought a kit of 4gb Corsair Vengance DDr3 1600, and installed it today. I don't know if you need this, but this are the characteristics of the newly kit.

Size 8GB Kit (2 x 4GB)
Performance Profile XMP
Fan Included No
Heat Spreader Vengeance
Memory Configuration Dual Channel
Memory Type DDR3
Package - Memory Pin 240
Package - Memory Format DIMM
Tested Voltage 1.5
SPD Voltage 1.5
Speed Rating PC3-12800 (1600MHz)
SPD Speed 1333Mhz
Tested Speed 1600Mhz
Tested Latency 9-9-9-24
SPD Latency 9-9-9-24

And I just can't seem to make it work in dual channel. Everytime I do it, sometimes the pc doesnt boot, screen keeps black and I don't even hear the beeping sound. Other times it boots, but after a little bit in windows it just freezes. And others it boots and freezes in bios :??:
I can only make it work at single channel. Or just one stick. They are well placed and there's no dust in the slots.

I tried setting it manually in bios, making it 1600, 1.5V. Then I tried lowering it to 1300. Nothing. Messing with the timings. from 9-9-9-24 to 6-7-7-20 did nothing aswell.
Honestly I don't understand completely what I have been doing with those timings, I just tried suggestions I found with google.

By the way. When messing with timings I changed DRam 1st information. Do I need to change DRam 2st informations aswell?

This is how the rams are working now. Everything is by default.

Could it be a motherboard issue? I really hope not x.x

Thank you for reading all this and sorry for the long post, I don't really know which more information should I give you, and I thank in advance for any help and advice you can give me. :)

Try raising the CPU/NB voltage to 1.2 and try, if that is stable then can try at 1600 (for 1600 may need to raise the DRAM voltage + 0.05 also

Hello, thanks for the fast answer.

I tried your suggestion. Placed the rams in dual channel amd CPU / NB voltage to 1.2. But it remained the same. Pc would freeze on desktop, bios or wouldn't even start, remaining all black.

Then I set up the DRAM voltage to 1,56. I couldnt place it to 1.55, only 1.54 or 1.56. And after that the pc just remained screen black and emmiting a long and continuos bip. I had to shut it dow.

Any other suggestion? :(
