Im upgrading my h8-1214 p.o.s. to handle better gaming. I recently purchased the XFX R9 270X. Ive tried everything to get this card to work but I just cant get any display on reboot.
Ive reseated multiple times, reconnected both six pin pci connectors, updated mobo bios, reset cmos, tried both dvi outputs and hdmi. made sure i removed all the drivers from previous card, reinstalled the latest drivers but i cant get anything to work. Any solutions or suggestions would be very well appreciated!
the old graphics card which is a radeon hd7450 works just fine.
My specs;
amd fx(6100) six core processor
m3970am (angelica 2) motherboard
corsair cx600 psu
old card radeon hd7450
new card XFX R9 270X
