Pc problem, hdd maybe?

Hey, I'm having a big problem with the PC. I have a fx 6300, M5a78 lm motherboard, and it won't boot into windows. The bios doesn't detect it. Did my hdd fail? It was working fine for a few months too

First confirm when you turn on your pc that you can feel your hard drive spinning.
seccondly, try a different sata cable and then a different sata port on the motherboard
lastly try it on a different computer. If you have another one in your house or a friends.
