30 seconds after playing any game, my computer just turns off randomly. The first time was after a couple hours into playing Skyrim. Now, it turns off as quickly as 10 seconds after starting up any games. Even when not in game, the computer blacks out sometimes. No warning, no "Shutting Down," it just completely powers down. The power LED on the case blinks, and doesn't go away until I reset the PSU. After resetting the PSU, the pc wont turn on for around an hour. Once I can, the computer turns on normally, but still turns off after opening any game. BIOS temperatures says its at 53 C, and fluctuates around up to 58 C. While not in BIOS, AMD Overdrive reports that the temperatures fluctuates from 55-70ish, same goes for HWMonitor, but the two programs never share the same values, so I don't really know how healthy the temps are. When I run the games, I quickly glance at the temperatures before the pc shuts down, and they drop to 40 C, and went up to 75 to 80.These readings don't seem accurate however. This computer is recently built, not even a week old. We had a heavy storm last night, resulting in a power outage while i was playing Skyrim. The next day, I had all these shut downs, although I'm not sure if the storm caused these problems. Is the problem with the PSU? the cpu? Like I said these parts are less than a week old. I checked inside the case multiple times, the wires are all set and the fans spin when I'm idle on the desktop.

the storm could have damaged the PSU, or a power bar if you have the PC connected to that

do you have another PSU to test with?

can you monitor your GPU temps as well?

AMD Overdrive temp apparently shows distance from 72c (so 15 c would mean the cpu is actually at 57c)

Power Supply is most likely. Video card can cause power issues but from the sound of what happens, power supply is the one to replace first.

Yup, PSU sounds like the problem. Also, 430W is on the low end. You should consider getting more power for future needs, as long as you're replacing it anyway.
