Ram Installed. I just built my own pc and are having an issue with it when playing WOW. The game freezes. The PC itself is still ok and I CTL ALT DLT to close it and restart it. My first thought is faulty GPU, but im now wandering if the wrong ram is the cause. The MOBO is the type GA-F2A78M-D3H and I have installed ram DDR3 2400 x 4. After looking at what ram is listed for it, it says only use the 2400 if you intend to OC, which I am not.
Should I be buying the 2100 or less type of ram?

Solution
Try lowering your graphics settings in WoW. If that doesn't work, then try new RAM sticks with a MHz rating. The RAM should not be a problem, but it can be sometimes. It sounds like it could be your gpu too. What graphics settings are you trying to play on?
EDIT:
Also, where are you when you crash? (If you even have the chance to get in game)

its an R9 290 GPU, i played at all settings of graphics ultra to low still does it. It happens pretty much every time I go into a raid or group, and especially doing Ordos on Tuesdays (if you play You know what I mean). Generally if I am solo questing or just travelling alone it rarley happens.
