Did I just fry all my hard-drives?

So, today while doing my routine dusting. I decided to unplug some cords from my modular power supply to make the task a bit easier. Got finished, plugged everything back in, and went to start up the computer. Then I got a warning message saying no-boot device was found.

Looked at the computer again, and realized I plugged my SATA power cord into the red, video card supply ports. (versus the black ones they normally are in). Would this cause the hard drives to short and break? Looking at the PCB there is no visible signs of a short, but the drives wont spin up. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide

I put in one of my other hard drives after switching it to the black connection type. And it works :/

Ill try it on a friends computer when the opportunity arises. Im more just wondering if using the red connection instead of the black one would cause this?
