My Asus PC 1015pn has an HDMI connection and uses a software graphics switch. This should be on the desktop but isnt, how do I re-instate it, or how can I switch between the integrated graphics and the HDMI?

That depends! If you have an NVIDIA chipset, you'll need the nvidia control center/panel. If you have a radeon chipset, you'll need AMD Catalyst Control Center.

Your pc seems to be NVIDIA, so here's a link for their panel!

Hope it helps. Just install, and to open, right click the desktop and select it.
