I happen to have $350, and planned to buy a decent mid end gaming rig.
Although I know I won't have a fair system if I were to buy brand new parts. So what I did was bought 2nd hand parts from my friends.
From my older system, which ran on
CPU: athlon ii x2 240
GPU: gt 430 1gb 138bit DDR3
RAM: 2x2gb Kingston ddr2
HDD: Samsung 320gb data
PSU: 500w ATC/generic
Mono: Asus m2n68 am plus
To
CPU: Phenom ii x6 1075t
GPU: HD 7850 2gb 256bit GDDR5
RAM: 8gb DDR3 1333mhz
HDD: didn't replace it.
PSU: corsair vs550(brand new)
MOBO: Biostar TA890FXE
So was this upgrade a big jump and is it worth it?
