Where the hell should i connect this cable?

this case is quite a fail , but i have to use it. but this cable , i know this is the power switch + hd led but i have no idea why the button doesn't work. the pc turns itself on when pressing the psu button

If that cable is to the power switch/HDD Activity light, there's a group of pins next to your front USB connection on your motherboard for it. You're likely going to need to remove the individual wires from their yellow casing to align the wires correctly.
