Well i bought a new video card the nvidia geforce gtx 650 and switched it to my old nvidia geforce 210.For a week the video card was working great no problems but than i couldnt start any games and it the games started the pc would crash.So i figured out with memtest that i had a bad RAM.So i bought 2 new ones to replace it after a week.After i replaced it i reinstalled windows because now it wanted 64-bit.i bought 2 2GB RAM.I played games for hours for 2 days straights but than i wanted to let the computer rest alittle and i didnt start it up the 3rd day.After that windows couldnt start and it wanted me to do system restore on startup repair.I did and windows started normally but all my games crash after 5min or less now.1st time it was BSOD and now random shutdowns like monitor turns black and loud noise from case,auto restart,game freeze and so on.I thought it was PSU because my gtx 650 needed 400w when i had 250w so i changed my video card to the old one geforce 210.but the problem persisted.I dunno whats the problem anymore so please help!!
system specs:
pentium(R) dual-core CPU E5800 @ 3.20ghz
RAM 4GB(3.19 usable)
video card now is geforce 210 since i changed it.
system type:64-bit operating system

It is definitely more safe if you don't play anything, but I would not risk it any further in your case (this PSU is near its death already). Play safe and don't mess with this PSU anymore.

Yes, this looks like you got a PSU issue. And once the PSU is overloaded and gets damaged, you can't "repair" the issue by simply reverting to your old card - the damage is already done. You can consider yourself lucky if the PSU is the only thing that got burned. Replace it as soon as possible. Get any XFX Core PSU of 450W or higher, preferably the 550W model. Don't cheap out on the PSU, because cheap ones (regardless of their rated power!) might burn just as this one.

acc to my experience i think your psu is dying.... after a while the capacitors and the vrms in the psu degrade ...you need a better psu... psu is the heart of the computer...if you cheap out..it will burn the whole freakin system.... buy a good 450 to 550W from corsair... you will be fine

the wattage bro....you need good wattage from a trusted vendor...i am sorry to say this but your psu is toast..you need a new one..quick.. it has already fried your ram...it might fry your cpu or gpu.... buy from corsair or seasonic
buy a 500W..go ! now!

This one catched my eye:

20mm silent fan with PWM function

If they cannot even write "120" correctly on their official web, you can only assume how good is the quality of their components. Besides, this PSU only provides 18A on 12V rail.

To the OP: as I suggested, get XFX Core 450W or any stronger model from XFX, Seasonic, Antec, Corsair (try to avoid CX and VS, other series are ok), Rosewill...

guys i dont really know which psu to buy and i cant seem to find XFX,seasonic,antec or any other.My price range is not above 100 in my country cash.max 120.Can you guys see this website and see which one is the best one to buy according to the price range?the language is thesame as before so i apologise but going through the pages is normal just scroll down and click the page number.

thats way above my price range....245 is too much for me.120 as the maximum price range.i cant pay more than that due to personal reasons....I just cant pay 245 for 1 PSU.i bought my GPU for 270 already.If you can find a psu thats not bad in my price range ill be grateful.Sorry for all of this but im confused because im afraid to buy cheaper ones because you guys said it would be a waste of money.In my country everything is pretty much high price.If you could suggest a psu thats in my price range ill buy it but if not ill just buy other cheap ones...

No furher suggestions, then. Quality has its price... And cheap also has its price, in effect often higher than the first option. The saying "I am not so rich to buy cheap" is there for a reason, and applies particularly in this case. If you like your components, you will find a way to get a quality psu. If not, I suggest not buying anything for a month or two until you can.

i have a question.I decided not to turn on my pc before i buy and change the psu because i thought it will turn off again without me playing games and damage something.So can i just turn it on just to visit some websites or something?Will it crash even if im not playing games?If i can turn the PC on can i use BYOND?byond is a program that has 2D games in it and i just wonder if i can use it.
