So I am quite nooby to OC'ing and I have a gaming rig and thought it would make a difference. My specs are
Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T
GPU: Radeon HD 5870
Ram: 16GB clocked at 1300mhz (is 1800mhz)
Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX

I did in fact use OC tuner in the options and it gave me 3.7Ghz opposed to stock clock at 3.2Ghz. My dad previously had it at 3.6Ghz stable and I don't know if this would be safe.

Extra info: I am currently running it at 3.21GHz and running coretemp with normal usage it stays at 24-25 degrees celcius and with Prime95 running blended under full load it stays at 35 degrees celcius i've heard the safe temp for it is about 64 so I would love to overclock it!

Yea...... most of the amd chips runs just fine upto 65 degrees. So you are safe to OC it further while monitoring temps...... I suggest, dont let it go above 60 degrees under full load......
good luck.....
