Hello. Whenever i try to start my computer after i had it switched off so no power would be able to come trought, it wont start.

Everytime i want to start it i have to push the off button of the psu and then turn it on and keep doing this until a red led shines up in the back of my mobo (asus maximus VI hero), and only then the computer will start.

I have tried updating the bios to the latest version but the problem continues.

SPecs:

i5 4670k with cooler master hyper evo 212

WD 1tb hdd black

8gb gskill 1866mhz memory

asus maximus VI hero

corsair cx600M

i had recently swaped the psu for a cooler master v850w which was faulty so i switched the psu back to my corsair.

Now my computer wont start immediatly.

could this be a faulty psu?

thanks in advance!

There is a possibility, that the faulty psu damaged other components in your computer, which is causing it to give you certain problems such as failure to start and lagging!

As you mentioned above that it is lagging as we speak, i believe that it couldve damaged the RAM, the RMA on the GPU's are a good idea, just to be on the safe side
