Hi.
I'm going to get a liquid cooling loop in my new computer. One of the radiators is going to be 3cm thick for 14cm fans and the second radiator - 4cm thick and for 12cm fans. The maximum static pressure of my chosen 12cm fans is going to be 1,74mmH2O and the 14cm fans - 1,4mmH2O (but I think I'll make my 12cm fans spin a little bit slower even at full load).

What FPI should my 3cm thick radiator have and what FPI should my 4cm radiator have?

Well, I'm going for silence, but I've already stated what the static pressure of my fans is going to be.
Performance is not the topic here; I've already made sure that the heat dissipation is going to be sufficient.

Nope, would definitely interfere with the motherboard (top mounting position).
So I understand, that for my static pressure 8 FPI is optimal, right?

Would 12 FPI for the slim one be too many?
