Hey guys, a couple months ago I updated my UEFI BIOS and it started to freeze a couple seconds after loading into the menu. My computer will boot just fine but I have no accessibility to my BIOS at all. It loads in, and about 3-15 seconds in it completely freezes the entire system. I got lucky once and got my CPU overclocked once again to 4.5ghz.. unfortunately.. I want to bring it down a little lower to 4.2ghz and cannot even do so. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem?

I updated to the latest BIOS because I've been having problems with my computer not posting past the Asus Logo, a red light stays on to the right of my graphics card... a couple reboots fixes the problem and it only occurs sometimes. I thought a BIOS update might fix this but it didn't.. now my BIOS just freezes.

Also, I've been having problems with my USB turning off sometimes when I plug my headphones into the front IO on my Corsair Air 540.. it comes back on a few seconds later but this is definitely not something I'm okay with. Whenever my Razer Deathadder gets unplugged or suspended like that it starts to have freeze flickers every 10 seconds.. so I need to solve this problem also.. could my BIOS be corrupted? How can I flashback without access to it?

Thanks for any replies!

! SOLUTION TO BIOS FREEZE ! - Unplugging all of my USB devices from the motherboard and using only my wireless mouse and keyboard connected through my cases front USB 3.0 jack.

! STILL A PROBLEM ! Looking for an answer/suggestion regarding my headphones being plugged into my front case I/O that temporarily suspends my USB devices plugged into the motherboard.

! STILL A PROBLEM ! Sometimes my computer will freeze on the Asus boot logo, a red light left of my USB 3.0 header will stay on.. waiting 30 seconds sometimes it will boot, but turning the computer on and off a couple times also helps. I once pulled the green header off the motherboard exposing the pins when resetting my motherboard into the case when I tried removing my case's USB 3.0 cable.. could it be a damaged? Why does this only happen sometimes?

Solution
I believe I found my solution, as terrible and unacceptable as it is.. it seems to stem from one of my USB devices. I unplugged all of my USB devices except for my wireless mouse and keyboard connected to my front case panel's USB 3.0. No more freezes from what I can see. I still have no idea what is causing my headphones to suspend all of my USB devices temporarily though...
clear cmos. it will restore to default settings and return cpu at stock speeds.refer to mobo manual for proper procedure.(through jumper only cause battery is beneath the armor) since your pc is operational bios cannot be bricked. i suspect overclocking, it has to be the culprit.

Okay, so I cleared my CMOS via the pins, and my BIOS is still freezing. It's got to be something corrupting my BIOS. How can I repair my BIOS if I can't actually use it?

I'm just going to try and reflash my BIOS with the BIOS button and hopefully it will repair it... I'll be back to let you know if it worked. Hopefully I can flash with the same newest BIOS version x.x
