Problems with running games

So I recently decided to build myself a computer

Parts:
AMD FX8320 Black Edition
Gigabyte Radeon r290 Windforce
ASROCK 970 Extreme3 R2.0
Enermax Triathlor Eco 650w 80+ Bronze
Seagate Barracuda 2TB
Kingston Hyper X Fury 2x4gb

I'm having problems when I try to run even the simplest of games like Minecraft and TF2. The game will stop responding or black screen. I am able to alt+tab out and do other things while it is still 'running'. There is still sound. I am having no problems while the computer is idle or I am using chrome. I've installed and un-installed the drivers many times and have even tried the beta drivers and this leads me to it being a hardware problem.

Please help me I'm new to this stuff.

What should I be looking for?

I've found:
Critical - Kernel-Power, twice (last 24hours) and 21 times (last 7 days)
Warning - Display, once (last hour), 3 times (last 24 hours) and 9 times (last 7 days)

Not sure if these are helpful or not

I believe so.
I have even changed power connectors and PCIe slots and no difference has been noticed.

After installing the Utilities and Drivers for my motherboard. I once again tried to play minecraft. The CPU was not overheated, running at around 30 Celsius. I got an error message saying, 'Display driver has stopped working and successfully recovered.' I was able to alt-tab out and force quit my game. I also had a problem before this when I was watching a video online, my screen freaked out (I'm not sure how to explain it). Afterwards it reset itself and on boot up I had a BSOD.

This also happened when I was browsing the internet.

No I have tested this before, the graphics is made to go to high temperatures but when these events happen it is around 40 celsius

Odd, I only have these problems when the graphics card goes over 90C. Check out your power usage in GPU-Z or HWINFO and see if you're getting the correct voltage range??? Noticed my card completely relies on PSU for power management and like to throw spikes of power usage. Your PSU might be falling behind.
