Ok so when I play any game the game will freeze the audio will start to skip or stutter the screen will go black it will stay that way for like 30 seconds and it will reboot. Also this will happen at places like the main menu. I've replaced and tested my ram but it's still happening.

Specs:
2x Gtx 780
i5 3470
h100i cpu cooler
16gb ram
RM 850w gold certified psu
msi z77mag45 mobo
case is a corsair 350D

Do you mean the entire computer reboots or the graphics card driver resets? Have you done a full uninstall and then a clean installation of your GPU drivers? Have you recorded any CPU and GPU temperatures that lead up to the point the computer hangs?

Thanks for the reply! Anyways, the entire computer reboots and I'll do a clean install of the drivers, if that dosent fix it I will record some temps.

It sounds like youre having the same problem as I. Are you getting an eventual Blue Screen just prior to "reboot"? Mine points towards my ATIKMPAG.sys driver file. I have tried multiple reinstalls of the driver without any result. I just purchased a new card in hopes that it was a shitty AMD driver problem, but to see you having a problem with it also on an Nvidia based card has me worried.

Are you using an MSI board? The problem may be a mobo problem I'm going to go update my bios and I'll get back to you.

I am. MSI Radeon HD 7770 GHZ Edition.

I updated my UEFI/BIOS to the most recent version available from ASRock (2.10)

Is your video card MSI also??

Ok so I was able to get on counter strike global offense (the game I was primarily testing for this problem) and surprisingly I had no problems. I don't know what I did differently but I must have done something. And I was running msi afterburner on my second monitor while I was playing Gpu 1 was around 45 Celsius and Gpu 2 was around 40 they fluctuated though up and down but it looked like they where around 45 and 40 most of the time. It seems to be working now I will comeback if anything changes so please keep your eyes on this thread thanks!
