Hello

Am looking to buy gigabyte nvidia 760 gtx.

so i want to know if my pc can run it, here's my motherboard model : Gigabyte H61M-S2P

Processor : intel core i5 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2300 CPU @ 2.80GHz, 3101 Mhz

Thanks.

Solution
Your mobo has 1 PCIe x16 3.0 slot, so yes you can run any graphics card on this mobo inlcuding gtx 760. Your system will handle the card with ease. No issue there. Make sure that you have good PSU in the system.
Gigabyte model has 4GB VRAM whereas EVGA model has 2GB VRAM. In terms of future proofing you should consider gigabyte model. Though I have always recommended EVGA because of their reliability, excellent customer support and better cooling tech.

If VRAM is not the criteria my vote is for EVGA card.

Thanks alot EasyLover, but sadly i only have 500w power supply, is it okay to go ahead ?

Pl let me know the model of PSU. 500W with 80+ Gold would definitely hold out but we need to see your PSU.
