Can my motherboard run nvidia 760 gtx ?

Hello

Am looking to buy gigabyte nvidia 760 gtx.

so i want to know if my pc can run it, here's my motherboard model : Gigabyte H61M-S2P

Processor : intel core i5 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2300 CPU @ 2.80GHz, 3101 Mhz

Yes, you should have no problems running the GTX 760.

But only if you have a good quality power supply, 500w or higher. Cheap chinese psus won't cut it.

Your mobo has 1 PCIe x16 3.0 slot, so yes you can run any graphics card on this mobo inlcuding gtx 760. Your system will handle the card with ease. No issue there. Make sure that you have good PSU in the system.

Without model it is difficult to say if this PSU is good or not.

^^Correct. There are several 800W psu models out there which can't hold a candle to a decent 500W PSU. Exact model will help us.

Hey dude, I have i5 3470 and Gigabyte h61m-s2p ( the same mobo as yours)
I am using the Gigabyte r9 270x 2 gb 3xWindforce and it works perfeclty

Gigabyte model has 4GB VRAM whereas EVGA model has 2GB VRAM. In terms of future proofing you should consider gigabyte model. Though I have always recommended EVGA because of their reliability, excellent customer support and better cooling tech.

If VRAM is not the criteria my vote is for EVGA card.
