This is my first gaming PC build and I'm on a budget so I can't afford expensive components, but would this build be good for playing games like BF4, Arma 3, Skyrim on high or ultra settings and what fps would I get? Also would the system be cool? Is there another good case I could get for a cheaper price?

Why don't you consider R9 270x instead of 660?

What are you going to be cooling for your cpu? Air or liquid? I suggest liquid always, Im not a fan of air, even though air is good, its just better with liquid cooling. Also if you were going liquid cooling would you want a dual radiator or single radiator? And for your case I think that's a really good price, honestly. And your motherboard would be good also for your build. On that gtx 660 Should get around the 60-80fps range or more It just depends if your running on High settings and the game your playing. But on the case on the inside I would reccomend adding 2 more fans inside to keep it cool and since you already have a fan on the top your good just add 2 fans I would suggest, Honestly I have 2 fans in my case and my motherboard is cool, it never gets hot or nothing. Im just having a promblem with my 660 overheeating on basic games like paday 2 not on high fps and it shutdowns on me.

I have never used any amd cpus, or graphics in my life. I always used intel and nvdia and evega because "You get what you pay for" JS.

I've used EVGA GTX 660 SC and I've never come across heat problem or throttling effect on this card. Ensure the good air flow in the case to remove the excess heat.

I was thinking about either Sapphire Dual-X Radeon R9 270X OC 2GB GDDR5 or Sapphire R9 270X 2GB Toxic 1100MHz GDDR but the price of the Dual-X increased on Amazon and I wanted to keep the cost down as much as I could.

Honestly Man I have no clue what is wrong with it, it never did this in the past till now here ill show you an example. : I launch payday 2 k, Go into game menu , Then my fan starts to revv up like a engine man like this RAAAAAAAAAAA and then goes fast not even playing the game and then my whole pc restarts well shuts down first. Im taking it to my local pc shop have him look at it they are good there when I have issues like this. Im not an expert on gpu's im still learning but, to me it sounds like a fan problem

I wasn't too sure about the motherboard but it was good to be reassured. I was going to save money and use the provided stock cooler. However, some sites recommend to not use stock coolers. Not too sure if I should get 2 120mm fans now or later.

Is a 430w power supply sufficient or should I get 500w.

Nannoshade you should be good with 430w but Its always better when you get more wattage's. Also you should be good with the stock one for now until you save money. If your going to get a dual radiator go with corsair brand or or a single . I just got mine this month and I love it! Its the best thing I have ever had on mine system.

430W is fine but I would rather go for a Seasonic or XFX power supply as the Corsair CX series of power supplies uses poor capacitors.

Thanks for helping me with deciding what to get and checking everything. I am now planning on getting a Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon R9 270X like Easylover recommended and I was told for that I needed 500w PSU. That means the budgets going to go up. But knowing me I might change my mind again to having the GTX 660.
