I've set the boot order in my BIOS to boot with the CDROM but when I put in my Windows 7 installation CD I don't get a prompt to press any key to boot from CD when I restart my computer. So annoying -.-

^See that, I don't get that command whatsoever. Windows just boots up normally.

Did you do what I asked in my previous response?

When you did your first installation, your PC would not have found anything bootable other than the installation disk.
Now that you have windows 7 installed on the OS - corrupt or not - it may be finding that first, then not searching for a bootable device after this.

The discs works fine. I bought it off Amazon as my OS for my newly built PC. It installed just fine the first time around. Here I am 6 months later with a corrupt Windows 7 that needs reinstalled because I can't update AMD drivers 14.4 without it causes Windows to get stuck at the booting screen. And Windows is definitely the problem because I did everything I could to solve it on my GPU's end.

When your computer starts up, enter your BIOS. You'll need to press one of your F-keys in order to access it.
It should say on screen when the computer first starts up which key you need to press.

Ensure your boot sequence in your BIOS is set to attempt to boot from the DVD Drive before the hard drive. Depending on your motherboard, you may have a graphical interface for this where you can just drag and drop the order. Save these settings then reboot.

Also, one of your keys such as F8 may allow you to select a device to boot from this time only, rather than permanently setting your boot device order.

You need to be pressing these function keys BEFORE the windows loading screen comes up, pretty much as soon as you turn the computer on.

Let me know how this goes.
