So i purchased the VG24QE Asus monitor and I wanted to know how I could get bost sound and audio without buying a displayport cable. I want to get 144hz refreshrate but HDMI only supports 60hz at 1080p and DVi doesnt support audio. Can I use HDMI from my motehrboard and DVI from my graphics card to get audio and video? I have a GTX 780 gpu by Zotac and a MSI Gaming 7 Motherboard. I have HDMI and DVI cables but not displayport. My motherboard doesnt have a DVI input but my GPU does. Any suggestions
