Hard drive conflicts RAID

hello. I have installed windows 8 unto a RAID 0 configuration with 2 SSDs. I have a separate HDD with data on it, so after I installed windows, I shut my PC down and plugged it in to the SATA port. Now, whenever I start my PC, it says there is no OS. I went to the BIOS and the system didnt have my RAID setup listed as an option for boot order, My HDD had replaced it. If anyone knows anything about this I would appreciate help. thanks!

Look harder, it has to be in there. Does your raid bios show up at post as configured?

Yes, it does show up on the intel RAID controller screen, but it is not in the BIOS. I dont know what else to try.

When I was raiding 4 ssd's it wasn't showing up as samsung evo's, it was called something cryptic. Are you telling me if you disconnect your data drive, your raid shows up as a bootable device?

Yes, that am correct. As soon as i disconnected my HDD , the SSD raid was shown as a bootable drive again.

I figured it out. Oddly enough, i had to simply switch sata ports for my HDD

Was the data drive connected when you installed windows on your raid?
