I recently bought this:

And would like to know how to optimise it for windows 7.
I was told to:
1) Use the SATA 3 connectors.
2) Use the Intel controller (How would I go about doing this?)
3) Use ACHI? What is this and how do I go about using it?
Any help would be much appreciated,
