Hey, im new here and got no idea if im really in the right section of the forum, but ill try here, seems about right.
my problem is that my VRM on both my XFX R9 280x is getting god damn high, about 105c under heavy load (mining) can i just buy some heatsinks and fit them right on both the cards and just solve the problem that way or is it a more sufficient way to proceed this problem?
My spec's are:
AMD FX-9590 8 core 4.7 ghz (5ghz turbo clock) (H100i watercooled)
2x XFX R9 280x in crossfire
3 120gb hyper x ssd's
Lexa 1000w modular psu
I got a total of 7 case fans (all 140mm) 2 in the door and front bringing "fresh" air in, 1 exhaust fan in the back and the Rad with 2 in the top also exhausting the air... the core of the cards almost never exceed 75-80 celsius.. and my room temprature is 25-30 during the day (27 now)
im putting in a vrm temp file so u can see..
http:// <-- there
Thanks for the answeres you awesome people may contribute with :)

I got like 2 cm of space between them, the poor design of them made it hard to get more space.. im open for water cooling yeah, but seems like alot of stress when u still need to cool the vrm's on that kraken g10, and i could just put on heatsinks for better cooling on theese as they are, and that will help remarkably, im just not sure if its space for it on theese cards, if i need a new fan top and the core temp is just fine after what i know, they are never over 75 ish, and that's fine by me.. i really want them to be able to go at 100% without me just staring at the temps and fan speeds of the case :p but, thanks for your answere! :) appriciate it (y)
