I have made a virtual build and showed my friend, he said it was not balanced and made one for me. However i noticed that his was around the same price however it had worse components. But he did say mine was Overkill and the one he suggested would be fine for playing most games on high or medium.
Please cold you look and see which you prefer?

Your build is pretty well balanced, but your friend doesn't seem to understand the concept of balance very well.

Issues with your friend's build: PSU is too big and the quality is poor, the 4GB of VRAM on the GPU is pretty useless, and the CPU is not so great. The lack of an SSD is also an issue since your build has one.

Comments on your build: You can save money by getting the FX-8320, the difference in performance is pretty minimal. I would prefer this over the SSD you selected, but the original one isn't bad either. And most importantly, the mouse. Trust me, you don't want a cheap mouse like that, it's not good for gaming.

Stick with your build. It is rock solid and not overkill. Consider buying minimum 600w PSU for this build. Rest you are good to go. CPU in your friend's build is not that powerful. GTX 770 vs R9 270x: Clear winner is 770.

Components in your build are compatible as well.

Good Luck

actually yours is far better you cannot compare a fx 8350 with a fx 4300 and a r9 270x with a gtx 770 your friends setup is fancy with gaming mouse and keyboard but that's all you can get much more fps from your build in games than yours friend..... and a 750watt psu is a overkill for a single 270x and gtx 770 and corsair cx is also not a good product 550 watt is plenty for your built and your choice is good (xfx)...also your cpu cooler is a good one ... :) well yours is more future proof than his built think about that.... you dont built your pc every day ...
