I would save a little more for a 760. It performs amazing a t 1080P, although it s 10-20 over your budget. It is faster than the 270x.

Exactly what psu do you have?
At the $200 price range, you can look at a GTX660, GTX660ti, R9-280, or GTX760.
They are somewhat close in performance tiers.
R9-280 will want a 550w psu.
The others somewhat less.

Exactly what brand/model is your psu?
If it is of good quality, it will run any $200 graphics card.
If it is a cheap unit, you will want to dispose of it before submitting it to any stressful levels.
When a cheap unit fails, the lack of protective circuitry can cause it to damage anything it is connected to.
