Motherboard corner close to drive bay

Hello, i am currently building a mATX machine. For this build i am using a Sharkoon MA-W100 case and a Asus H97M-Plus motherboard. After installing the motherboard i noticed that one of the corner seems very close to the drive bay.

As you can see there is about 2mm space between them. Will this be a problem and fry the motherboard or is it completely safe? It seems odd that it would be a problem seeing as both the case and motherboard are mATX.

Solution
Hi

The psu has mains voltage in a earthed metal box so it is safe unless you put a screwdriver into the holes in the psu case

Voltage to motherboard 12v, 5v, 3.3v' -12v so clearance is ok

I was thinking on other electrical equipment where mains voltage is on circuit board . There is a international standard for gap between parts at mains voltage

This is not relevant to gap between motherboard and metal case

Then consider motherboard is usually mounted on (6 or more ) brass pillars to ensure motherboard ground plane is connected to metal case

So even a space as small as 1mm would do? I noticed the metal of the bay cuts off a bit before it would hit the board as if it was made to fit. Is there no chance of current jumping in that small a space?

Could you elaborate on this? It's been some time since i focused on building a PC. My normal occupation is Software Engineer. From what i understand is that as long as the area of the motherboard does not have the main voltage routed through there, there would be no problem? If so any way to identify the boards main power route?

Thank you for the quick answer. As said before there is a small gap so i should be fine. I just wanted to ask to be safe. I'll mark your answer as the solution.
