The thing is i chose parts but i am kinda unsure if i should get ASUS Z87-K, Socket-1150 or go for something higher, like MSI. Now for MSI i have few choices: MSI Z97 GAMING 5,
MSI Z97 GAMING 3 or i dont know. I mean the buget is around 180USD (maximum). and i am picking parts from this norwegian store. https://www.komplett.no.
Or maybe you can suggest a card found in that store for around 180USD. (just use search bar, no need to understand norwegian)

Here are my current specs (basically i havent bought anything yet, just build idea).
HyperX Fury DDR3 1866MHz 8GB White
Intel Core i7-4790
Corsair CX 750W PSU

Or here is the whole shopping list https://www.komplett.no/k/shoplist.aspx?mode=receive&si...

Please help guyz.

Tnx for the answers

Why exactly Asus. I mean MSI looks like hardcore gaming related thing. My purpose is not only to ask but learn something new. I would appreciate if you would explain why Asus.

Since u r goin wid Intel Devil's Canyon CPU, I suggest u to go wid z97 chipset mobo. If u r gonna OC that chip then i strongly recommend asus sabertooth z97-"MARK 2" (not mark 1-Its costlier).
When u hv budget of upto 180 USD then why r u going with jst msi z97 gaming 5. u hv pretty gud options like MSI Z97-GAMING 7, MSI Z97 MPOWER, ASUS SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK 2. (Prices r from PCPartPicker. Not sure bout d prices in yor area)......
When it comes to Computers, its not bout how it looks like... what matters is the performance you gain from the hardware packed inside. Asus offers better OC'ing, stability than others. But again that does not mean that msi is bad. msi is also pretty good....
Anyways the final choice is yous........... best of luck building your gaming rig................

Hope you checked the store. Prices in Norway are different. For example the sabretooth costs 350USD in Norway.
Also i am going for most possible green, since i am huge nVidia and Razer fan.
Only doubt about MSI i have is that some people claim its buggy and many perfer Asus. I guess i am gonna no with ASUS Z87-A since its great in the price range and also it wasnt devils canyon that i was gonna buy, but now that i checked it out i might actually buy it.

MSI copied the Black and Red scheme from the long time Asus ROG mobos, I myself only build on Asus, the Rock and GB mobos, MSI is out due to their poor QC (quality control), I get more problem calls on their mobos than any 2 other manufacturers put together
