This problem started a few months ago after I cleaned out the inside of my tower. While playing mainly CS:GO my computer shuts down randomly. It doesn't seem to be overheating.

CPU: idle 30-35C and while gaming 50-60C
GPU: idle 35-40C and while gaming 75-80C

Also it doesn't normally boot back up on its own. What I have to do most of the time is turn the power off in the back, unplug it, plug it back in, and turn the power back on in the back. I have no clue what the problem could be, I have a feeling it has something to do with my CPU. When I cleaned it the first time I unscrewed my cooling system from my CPU, i'm not sure why. I put everything back right, but could it have something to do with the thermal paste?

My CPU is i5 2500k 3.30GHz and my GPU is GTX 560.

UPDATE: It continued to power off on its own and is no longer booting back up. My psu is 700w, I switched it out to my old 500w psu to see if that fixed my issue and it almost did. It now boots up but to a blank screen with one beep. Could this just mean that a 500w psu isn't big enough for my gpu?

UPDATE 2:Replacing the PSU fixed my problem.

If you didn't properly clean and re-apply fresh thermal paste you may get inconsistent readings so your CPU may be running hotter than it is implying. Almost definitely the cause of issue

Could you post full system specs please? And how regularly does it shut down like this?

Did you do any overclocking? Even slight overclocks can cause unstable performance.

Since you have an i5 2500k, you could try using its integrated graphics for a while. If it stops crashing, you know the GPU is the problem.

check your power supply...might be going bad...also check all your connections

If it just shuts down fully during gaming, my guess would then be a faulty power supply. Tends to be one of the main symptoms if you're drawing more power than it can handle.

I don't overclock, it was happening about once a day but today its been happening every time I play, at least 4 times.

In that case, I would try gaming off of the integrated graphics for a day or two.

If it stops crashing, that means the GPU is faulty, the driver is bad, or it's simply sucking up too much power. If it continues crashing, that means something else is bad.

Also, could you please post full system specs? That would be very useful.

I'm not sure what full specs entail but I have 8gb ram, 700watt power supply, i5 2500k cpu, and gtx 560 gpu.
I have new problems now, I replaced the thermal paste for my cpu, then it shut down like its been doing, but this time my cpu temp was topping out at 65-68C. Also it doesn't boot back up anymore, now when I hit the power button the from lights flicker and makes an electrical noise. I have a feeling that I've ruined it. Thanks for trying to help but this feels hopeless now.
