PSU and compatibility Evga gtx 770 sc 2 go acx cooler

Hi , just a doubt concerning requirements of Evga gtx 770 sc acx cooler.
I note that : 600 watt or greater power supply with a minimum of 42 amps on the +12 volt rail!

psu : Antec HCG -750M 750W specifications says :
+3.3V@25A, +5V@25A, +12V1@40A, +12V2@40A, -12V@0.5A, +5Vsb@3A

Should i consider there's a wrong buying this psu ? Maybe it should works " +12V2@40A " ? What do you think ?

    Oooh! Don't do it!

The PSU is one of the parts you don't want to go cheap on. Bad power can be a headache, and you're setting yourself up to be 2 Amps short before the race starts.

  4. Yep ! thanks , i'm gonna change for this one : CORSAIR CS750 Series Modulaire - 750W, it might goes right with amps ! just one rail but not too expensive! Just tell me
  5. The Antec HCG -750M is actually perfectly fine really for a single GTX 770. The wattage is overkill as well.
Antec are good brands. Multi rails and single rails doens't matter much really.
Power supply recommendation is overkill. A good quality 550W will be enough.

  7. Well ! only 40 amp on a rail should be the mess ! evga gtx 770 sc acx cooler species requires 42 amp minimum !
so i'm gonna change my point of view . Anyway thanks for your feedback !
  8. Yes one rails has 40 Amps on the rails but you feeding both rails as well. The power supply is perfectly ok with that rail design for a single GTX 770 and 42 Amps is for the whole system, not just the card. A gtx 770 may take in 200W which is less than 20 Amps.
