is 50c temperature while idling hot

Well I bought a new pc about a month or so and i thought of checking it's temperature while it was idle . i checked it using coretemp and found while idling it was about 48-50c . So my question is that is 50c alot while idlng ?

no and the pc hangs after a while or so
