Hello, this is my first try at building my own pc and after some research, i would like to try this build:

CASE: Rosewill Challenger U3

CPU: AMD FX-6300

GPU: Sapphire AMD R9 270X

MOTHERBOARD: Asus M5A97 r2.0

PSU: XTX ATX 550

HARD DRIVE: WD 1TB blu SATA 6 gb/s, 7200 rpm, 64mb cache

RAM: need recommendations, preferably 8gb

If someone could please help me out by choosing a correct RAM-memory and maybe telling me which edition of the R9 270x GPU i should buy, because i find a lot of different editions on amazon. Also i would like to know if everything will work together.

Please help me, i'm a noob!

Thanks

Thanks for the fast replies. I will look at both RAM recommendations and pick the one i can find the easiest in my country.

@nickrr7001: What power supply would you recommend me then? I don't really plan on overclocking or getting a second gpu the first few years

I recommend this psu http://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Builder-Series-Watt-CX600/dp/B0092ML0OC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1404953513&sr=8-1&keywords=600w+power+supply

I've used it in a past build and it was able to support a gtx 780ti but couldn't oc all that much. However if you decide to get a new card or oc this will be great plus it lasts for a while.

The current psu you picked out is fine if you don't want to upgrade to a 290x or a 780 or overclock your gpu but I strongly recommend you spend a little extra on the cx600 it will do you good in the long run. EX less shortages, overclocking, more hardware options, and a much longer life span. If you have any more questions pm me or add me on steam: nickrr7001 Good luck with your build!
