Hello,

I bought a case for HD notebook to be used as an external HD. Link product.

I have a seagate HD notebook, and before I wore another case, but he started giving poor contact in USB and decided to change my case, it was when I bought the one above.

Then comes the problem that this new case works perfectly on newer computers (with USB 2.0 ports), the ones I tested were PCs with processor 1155 or more. But it does not work on PCs 775 or equivalent AMD (also on USB 2.0).

In the 'old' PCs disc comes as RAW, leaves no formatting or assign the drive letter, tried using Diskpart and did not yield; but appears in new PCs as NTFS and works perfectly. If I connect again the 'old' pc appears as RAW and not access the data, returning the new pc data from external HD are in perfect condition.

Researched a lot, but all I found forums talking about how to change from RAW to NTFS, but that is not my problem.

Have you seen this? :??:

Thanks folks al.

Solution
Send it back for another one. Seems like alot of complaints that they didnt work on sata2 or sata3 and then the seller promises them a discount if they change thier review to 4 or 5 stars. LoL
