My brother wants me to build him a computer to play Minecraft. I already have a 64 gb ssd, a case, fm2+ motherboard, 8gb of ddr3 1600 mghz single channel ram, and a 400 watt power supply. What would be sufficient for a cpu/gpu/apu?

What's the budget for those parts? Oh and don't forget you also need a hard drive.

For minecraft you don't need much. But I would have to guess he will want to move on and play better and more graphically intensive games in the future (Battlefield; Crysis; etc.). If you don't have a budget I would recommend the GTX 770 2 GBhttp://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=... the AMD A10-7850k Kaveri http://www.neweggbusiness.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item... If you do have a budget and will only really play minecraft in this computer's lifetime then go for a Radeon R7 270 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... and the AMD A8 series A8-6600K https://www.google.com/shopping/product/182411688832546...

Hope this helped!
