The gtx 790 vs the titan z

Hi,
This might be an unnecessary question to ask because the gtx 790 hasn't come out yet along with the titan z ,but do you guys think it would beat the titan z? I'm just really curious. I think its like asking the gtx 690 vs the original titan, maybe, I'm not so sure. Maybe you guys know. Thanks!

There's no way to know the performance difference between the Titan Z and the 790, but if the card indeed launches, it will be less than 30-35%, maybe 10% maximum. But don't expect the 790 to hit the shlves at $900-1000, my guess is $1400-1700

wow ok that makes sense, I get it now, but if i had a decision between them both , i would choose the gtx 790 because the titan z goes for 3 grand and that is WAY overpriced! Also why would I pay 3 grand if the gtx 790 is only 30-35% less powerful than the titan z for only 900-1000$?
