Flash cause freeze in Firefox and IE. Happens mostly in you tube and this started in June 2014. I tried uninstall and reinstall of Flash player and the plug-in. Cursor freezes, and when power button is depressed the Flash Crash page comes up before powering off. On a couple of occasions it un froze if left alone.
On certain things that I watch, where one episode ends and another starts automatically flash is restored.

Thank you Phillip, I may try that. But I have read people having same problem with Chrome.

I've experienced the same problem in Chrome. Probably something like seven out of ten times, it unfreezes, usually after performing actions like opening a new tab (using keyboard shortcuts), switching to the Start screen, etc. But I have indeed had to restart my computer multiple times. It almost always happens when there is streaming Flash video playing, most often on YouTube. This is all relatively new, and only started happening in the past year. You're still able to click, by the way. The cursor just can't move along either axis.

But getting Chrome is most definitely not a fix. The problem isn't with the browser, but Flash itself. There also doesn't appear to be a general fix, either. Likely we'll just have to wait for it to hopefully be addressed in future Flash updates, unfortunately.
