Such a hard decision

hello everyone.
I need help with an important decision to do with my pc build. I have the choice to get a better motherboard or an aftermarket cpu cooler so i can over-clock my cpu. what should i do? I can either get the Asrock z97 pro 4 with the cooler master hyper 412 slim or i could get the Asrock Z97 Extreme4/Asrock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer/MSI Z87-G43
Please help:)

If its a choice between a better board or cooler, you can always upgrade the cooler in a couple months, but the board your stuck with. The intel stock coolers are ok for light OC if you have good case airflow. I suggest getting the Asrock extreme4. 12phase power, sli or xfire compatable, and ready for the 5th gens.

You havent told us what you currently have, and we cant suggest you anything. In my opinion go for cooling. MoBo is not so important as long as you dont plan for something like GTX 780 or something. Also what kind of CPU u have. The best for over-clocking is ofc liquid-coolers.
